You can get the documents from the broker firm that you need to fill to open an account. ALL you need is walk in to a broker firm with NIC.


After you opened a CDS account you can buy shares. First you need to Deposit some money to you account to buy shares. Some broker firms have minimum amount but most of them do not have a minimum amount. It depends on broker firm. 

If you interesting to trade (buy and sell) through internet you can ask you broker and they will provide you a User name and Password.
Then you can download CDAX software and trade sitting in front of your computer.

Transaction fee 

When you buy and sell shares there is a transaction cost for that. 

Up to 1 million …. You will be charged 1.425% on your transaction.
Over 1 million… You will be charged 1.225% on your transaction this is divided as follow

• Capital Gains

This is when a share's selling price exceeds its initial purchase price. If the selling price falls beyond the purchase price, you would make a capital loss. Capital Gains are free of tax.

• Dividends

A company may decide to payout a portion of its earnings to shareholders. But companies are not required to pay dividends.

• Rights Issues

The company may extend this privilege to existing shareholders to buy shares at a specified and usually discounted price, usually in proportion to the number of shares already owned. 

• Bonus issue

Shares shall be offered to the holders of existing shares in a manner which would, if the offer was accepted, maintain the relative voting and distribution rights of those shareholders.
